No more a viable German Way for EU?

These days, the diesel-gate has arisen, encompassing VolksWagen vehicles, diesel ones. Considering the declaration of BundesBank president Jens WeidMann about “Made in Germany” consequences, the overall German production approach would be investigated, in the near future, probably.

However, Germany car production numbers are are really strange. It makes other companies (ones from other countries and Germany minorance) to look completely inefficient.

Let’s take a deeper look at.

‘A. “Made in Germany”: comparative productions

Some simple quantitative reasonings are easy to make about Gernam vehicles production. Following a comparison on production and earning among Germany car makers (VW, Daimler and BMW) using data from statista.com (see http://www.statista.com/statistics/273210/company-figures-of-the-automoblie-companies-bmw-vw-and-daimler):

Group

Market Share (%)

Revenue/Vehicle

Revenue/Employee

Vehicle/Employee

VW

68.09%

19810.17613

1798669.166

90.79521326

Daimler

16.99%

50929.41176

463867.8154

9.108053663

BMW

14.92%

35892.85714

691172.9308

19.25655927

That is,

  1. VW represents THE way of car making in Germany, having quite 70% of the production. The behaviours of the other companies change only a little bit the overall figure

  2. Revenue per Vehicle are low for VW, since these are cheaper one (an average of less of 20K €, compared to 51K€ or 36K€). This is good

  3. Revenue per employee is incredible for VW: 4 times Daimler one, quite 2.5 times BMW one. Objectively, VW performs better

  4. Vehicle per employee is impressive for VW: 10 times Daimler one and quite 5 BMS one. Definitively, VW is THE way

Given only this data, Daimler and BMW seem bad leaded(but this is not so!).

B. “Made in Germany” is no more a model

But VW has obtained these numbers putting in place a fraud: the Dieselgate, as it is named. That is:

  1. No Easy Success: Clean Diesel is build on a defeat device (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defeat_device) that figure engines better than these are

  2. No Smarter Employees: special stoichiometric behaviours are due to false values. Better engines were not developed

  3. Fun Surplus: additional money should be used for R&D. VolksWagen is saving money from 2007 (Bosh

Made in Germany no more means Total Quality. Not usually, at least. Neither it is a model of development: no easy successes, no smarter employees, no fun surplus.

C. Financial Figure: Germany Surplus

Recap the numbers: 11 millions of vehicles (VW, Audi, Seat, Lamborghin) are using “defeat device” for controlling the (dis)function of engine emissions.

Germany is producing a stagnation in EU economy, due to surplus of its companies.

Are overall German Company surplus derived from fraud analogue to Diesel-gate? Are other EU citizens suffering because a model that not could be viable?
